This CAD/CAM system is exclusively used by our clinicians in the UK. It has proven positive clinical outcomes in applications throughout the world. Faster and more accurate results are produced.

Biosculptor can accept images form a number of other devices such as MRI and CT scans.

These models are modified in the computer system and can accurately be enlarged and reduced in volume if the patient’s weight alters. As a patient you can directly see what modifications have been done to your sockets on request.

Biosculptor allows us to securely store your prosthetic details for a number of years and when required comparison and consistency can be achieved

The i-LIMB ™ System

The worlds full articulating and commercially available bionic hand by Touch Bionics.

The i-LIMB Hand is controlled by a highly intuitive control system that uses a traditional two-input myoelectric (muscle signal) to open and close the hand’s life-like fingers. Myoelectric controls utilize the electrical signal generated by the muscles in the remaining portion of the patient’s limb. This signal is picked up by electrodes that sit on the surface of the skin.

 

Otto Bock C-Leg Knee

Ottock bock c-leg Featuring unique microprocessor swing and stance phase: the technology that offers Day-to-Day Stability.

Otto Bock's highest priority when developing the C-Leg was to provide optimal stability during the gait cycle. Using unique algorithms developed from studying how thousands of people walk, combined with input from multiple built-in sensors, the microprocessor determines the phase of gait. Then, automatic adjustments are made to the knee's function to provide stability -- right when it is needed.  Here's how it works:
  • Additional sensors read the precise angle of the knee joint.  This data, along with swing speed input, is read 50 times per second by the on-board microprocessor.
  • Force sensors in the pylon detect loading of the foot and ankle

The new Iceross Seal-In X5 incorporates a series of five seals that conform to the shape of the residual limb and the internal socket wall, providing an airtight seal. For lower-limb amputees who prefer a suction liner, liberation from the restriction of a sleeve means more freedom of movement, increased comfort and simplified maintenance.
